Heya! I'm a WoW and Istaria player, but a friend of mine's been playing FFXIV and finally convinced me to try it. We're both med-heavy RPers and planned to transfer to Balmung.

That, uh...yeah, obviously that won't work out anymore. We ended up going for Mateus and have had a great time there so far though, and I'm excited to get into the game and RP more ^_^ I'm still learning most of the lore, but I've got the wiki bookmarked to help with that.

Hey there and welcome! Â I'm pretty much in the same boat...new to FFXIV from WoW and planned on moving over to Balmung. Â Ah well. Â I'm on Mateus now too and hope to RP with you all soon!

Already Mateus is seeing an upturn in traffic from the RP community and if that trend remains consistent, I have no doubt at all you'll be on the ground floor of something BIG. Welcome to the RPC, and to FF 14. Enjoy your stay in Hydaelyn and the many adventures to come!
