
You know, the more I think about it the more I come to the impression the systems SE has placed in FFXIV is to combat bots in the long term.
A Fatigue system to stop constant bot grinding
A divided market system that stops farmer companies from controlling it, since you have to be everywhere at once in order to see all the prices every player is distributing their items for in order to buy it/resell it.
Mini-games for gathering/crafting that are somewhat skill based.
Or am I just seeing things...
