Hi!
I have been sort of hanging around here a little bit and so I thought I would finally put a post here and say hi. I'm not really sure how to do it otherwise so I'll use the template thing.
--MMORPG background
FFXIV is the first one I got really into. I still think I'm pretty new at it though. My highest class as around 40 and I haven't finished the first part of the story yet. The quests and things are fun but crafting has been much more my favorite thing to do.
Besides FFXIV I have also had fun playing Black Desert.
--RP experience
Well very little so far really. I've been sneaking in to a bunch of the posted RP events on the calendar and sort of mostly hanging out and watching and just being in the background. That's actually been pretty fun to do.
So far I tend to like RPing in a way that is more just I guess you would say conversational. I mean that I feel less into doing the long descriptive posting that some people do and more just like to hang out and chat in character.
--Character ideas/info
For now i pretty much see my character as mostly just how I am myself except in the Final Fantasy world. Maybe sometime I will try something different but for now it seems the most comfortable and easiest. I'm going with a story that is pretty much just being a typical person from Gridania, no major unusual experiences that happened in life in the past. That might make me a little bit boring to some I guess, but it's fine I'm usually perfectly happy being more in the background anyways.
--How did you learn about the coalition?
I pretty much just searched for something like Final Fantasy 14 RP and I think it came up first or close to it.
--What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? Light, medium, or heavy?
I do have fun being in character as much of the time as possible but at the same time I like to just be very conversational like I said, so I guess you would call that light? I'm not really sure.
--Anything from real life you'€™re comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc)
Not really sure what to put here, just in school and like doing active things and being with friends. I like doing things like playing FFXIV when I want to relax or there isn't too much going on.
