I'm pretty sure "cycles" to mean "years" is one. I mean, cycles are used in Eorzean time terminology a lot, but usually in terms of "how many times does the elemental wheel spin during a day? during a month?" I've never heard a NPC use it to mean a year, and neither does this article use it for specifically a year.

While "cycles" to mean "years" isn't referenced in the link above, "bells" to mean "hours" is. Maybe it's a 1.0 thing, maybe NPCs occasionally use it. I'm pretty sure I've seen NPCs use the term.
