Kicking out a booted leg before her, that same leg swung to her side to tap lightly against
the ground; the bardess dipping low in the teasing swing of her hips to follow through with the
entirety of her form. It was the chorus, however, that brought with it flick of magitek button,
one that sent a burst of pyrotechnic flame from the tapered end of the instrument's head stock
to light up stage in brilliant crimson light.

Khyran Oisin chuckled weakly. "Y-yeah, I guess ... it hasn't." He wraps his arms around her
back and squeezes her a little. Then, he steps back, at arm's length again, smiling in a forlorn
sort of way. "...I miss you." He said. "J-just ... been thinking about how we killed Hunter
together, and now we're in two different worlds." He sighed a little, rubbing the back of his neck.

"I get it, everyone has an ego." spoke the highlander in an impassioned tone, scarred digits curling
into a fist upon the curve of a stocking-clad knee. With the pinch of her brows to crease in a frown, she
shook her head slowly, attempting to apeal to her comrades sense of reason. "Everyone thinks they
can destroy anythin' they come across. . . but if you just stop th'macho act fer five seconds and take
th'time to consider what it is we're dealing with. . . or need I remind you that th'man whom was
associated with this to date took down several of us in the blink of an eye. If he's getting his power
from this voidsent, do you nae think she'll be three times as powerful?"

"Odette." she returned with an elegantly dipped head, all bravado. "Saoirse." Her own glass,
contents matching his own, was lifted briskly toward her lips to hover for a brief moment against
the upward curl of maw's corner in mirthful expression. It was then she downed it herself, though
perhaps at a slower rate. Taking a moment to savor the taste and chase it with the tip of her rosen
tongue, she placed the glass gently upon the counter with a short huff through freckled nose.
"What brings you through th'doors this sun then, Mister Spades?" queried the blonde after a
moment, pressing a single scarred finger against the brim of her hat to slide it back from crown
and banish the shadows from her features.

An impish curl took precedence upon the tapered corners of the highlander's full lips, the tip of her
tongue caught between pearly gates of good teeth with a snorted note of mirth. Reaching out both
hands to accept the beverage poured, she drew it back to her person with a lingering glance into it's
vermilion depths. "Aye, I've heard. . ." she murmured in response, brows slowly drawing together
for a creased frown that lasted several beats before fading. "Nae doubt it's a constant on the minds
of th'people here. Certainly leaves many feelin' helpless, understandably. Nae just limited t'citizens
either, I wager. It's somethin' I can certainly relate to."
