The Templars were kind of in all out war with each other over either sticking with the old ways or getting with the times. We played Templars from the old line of thinking - getting thing done and letting someone else worry about the clean up and had no time for the new guard or toleration of any other upstart factions. We were there first, we knew how to do it better, and we didn't have time for changing with society or playing nice with other factions. It was fun, though it ended up a bit dark for our tastes given the theme. We actively avoided the Illuminati as we figured they would be the popular choice in TSW. But I did have an alt that was one.
