Second post of page 5, War Scythes were more or less like polearms (IE Halberds and poleaxes) than the traditional wheat cutter.
While I admit Scythes are not only awesome due to how they look (and the physical mechanics in using one), but as a weapon, you're better off using a Fauchard or a spear.
However, despite being impractical, they are pretty cool.
