Being a part of the testing since the first phase of alpha for FFXIV when it finally released the finished product was such a disappointment that I just couldn't bring myself to keep trudging along in it. Was also a bit burned out having already essentially played it for the majority of a year before it released so yeah.... I ended up bouncing back to it a bit though over the last year but couldn't get full well into it. So now with ARR I really get a second chance to get back into this great world.
