Hey everyone!

I'm new to the website, and to Final Fantasy XIV. I've been playing for three days now and it's really lonely and quiet hehe. I lucked out by joining the Balmung server already. So I'm hoping to meet other RPers, and making friends. I'll be taking the time to brush up one some lore content and what not so I can hopefully plan my character. I'm also interested in joining a Linkshell, the initial Linkshell that I was excited to join either is inactive or didn't like my application on enjin Cry

. But because of that, I was able to find this place!

Hey there and welcome to the community!

It can be lonely out there, but we do have an OOC pearl for all RPers on the server, which is called "Backstage" now. I don't have the pearl myself yet so I cannot provide you one but I am sure one of the RPers will. As far as Linkshells go, unfortunately not many are active at the moment. I know of Corvus Cinis, TALE, and the Everwatch. The first two are 'moderate' and Everwatch is 'heavy' RP. If there are more Linkshells out there, I'm sure someone will correct me. You can browse those three by clicking on the linkshell tab up there ^ and get some more info. Good luck out there and feel free to add me to your friend's list and send a tell. I believe Shimmersong is also fairly active and the people from Blue Skies are active in Backstage... Merrin is clearly plotting something for 2.0. I do have pearls available so you can poke Reiry Nitrrah although I think about half the people on these forums can give out Backstage pearls so poke about anyone around here and we should be able to get you one fairly quickly.

Yeah, the only four presently active RP shells include TALE, Everwatch, Corvus Cinis, and Shimmersong. The rest have mostly gone deadly quiet at the time being. Due to the current lack of a large pool of RPers to pull from, this isn't that surprising. So you may want to look at one of those for the time being.

Wow, thank you everyone for the warm welcome and making me feel right at home. Thankfully, Gerik passed me the "Backstage" linkshell and I've already gotten the chance to speak to a few of you. Everyone is already really nice, warm, and welcoming. I think I'm going to enjoy myself here.
