Just wondering if anyone was able to download yet. I'm getting an unable to check version error. Was wondering if this was because the patch isn't out yet or I have a technical issue.

Yes, but you should be able to download it ahead of time during the maintenance.

Servers haven't even been down for two hours yet. Give it a little more time. SE is probably still applying the patch to the servers and testing that the process works properly.
