I havent been around on here in some time, finally remembered i needed to check the email i associated with my login here and saw the news of the time approaching for when FFXIV 's recreation begins to go live.
Sadly i never had much chance to really get into it before when it first launched, loved the look of it, especially as I came from FFXI being my first mmo experience, the game just had that nostalgia type feel to it.
I was bummed when I first read that it didnt seem like the game was doing as well as the Dev's had hoped.
Due to real life and such I havent been able to keep up on active subs for games I may have wanted to play, this being one.
I had prepped to move my existing character around when they had done server merges/transfers earlier this year to move to where the RP'ers had mostly designated the un official home.
As it stands now I'm still not sure when I'll be able to afford to re sub FFXIV but I wanted to take a moment to stop in and say that I'm very glad to see this site and the RP community has continued to keep going strong and will look forward to one day being able to get back into the game after its reborn.

Well, if you ever had an active character, it's currently active. Hop on and check out the world again. That's what I'm doing ^_^

Yea, i caught wind of the accounts being reactivated, logged in the other night just to enjoy the wonderful and gorgeous visuals of the sky and weather that i remembered when I played last.
I dont really want to torture myself by playing around to much during these few days as I know I wont b able to sub up for some time yet. I'm quite content knowing that its relaunch is soon approaching and looking forward to the things to come.
I was bummed I wasnt able to craft the kabutu helms i had a few of the materials for lol, or finish the xmas outfit sets for my 2 retainers . But maybe some day heh.
I'm going to try to keep tabs more regularly on things .
