Looking for Rp... - Zurina - 10-02-2011
On the Besaid Server which I was lead to believe is the unoffical, offical Rp Server.
I am trying to locate a few Rp groups that do not require a person to sign up to their web site / forums just to hang out / join them. I have little enough times as it is to play the game, i would rather not have to spend more time in a forum and in application processes that take me away from the game at large.
Any help would be welcomed.

I don't think you'll have much luck finding a RP shell without any kind of application process. As far as I'm aware, they all have one. And if they don't, you usually have to be specifically invited into it to get in. Some application procedures are more lenient than others. In today's age, forums are a very crucial tool for communication in these types of communities and are heavily capitalized on by most RP groups (and non-RP groups as well). That said, most Rp shells don't likely have any criteria stating that you have to be super active on their forums or anything. So you could just put in the application, get accepted, and not bother with the forums after that. This may not be true of all groups so don't take my word for it.
This probably isn't the answer you were looking for though. So I apologize in advance for that.

Welcome to the community.
I thought some linkshells did allow one to join without an application, but that might have changed. There are also groups not listed on the RPC here (not sure why not). If you wonder around long enough, I am sure you will find a type of group to suit your playstyle.

I've been RPing in MMOs for quite some time, Honestly I've had enough Issues with people useing OOC info ICly that I don't like to just hand out the full Bio most sites require. Adding to that my off schedual and a desire to actualy play FFXIV instead of the forum RP game
