Ehh as far as the complaints about it lacking individual pieces, just a quick glimpse at the item description should of been hint enough.

Every other outfit lists multiple pieces, Her's only only list 2 pieces.
I feel to many people chose to be ill-informed before they purchased it and or now bitching about it.

As far as it being teh only set not in multiple pieces, I agree that it's dumb.

The Yda outfit is another all-body piece. Papalymo, Thancred, Urianger and Y'shtola are all separate.

Why would they make Yda's outfit all one piece? It's just the basic pirate shirt with Midlander Hyur underwear and some red heavy armor boots. Oh, and that ugly turban you can buy cheap in the markets anyway.

Well, I guess if other races really want those Hyur midlander undies, they can have them along with the rest of Yda's very 1.0-looking outfit.

You're not wrong, but it's still pretty shitty for the widely inconsistent ways they deliver costume armor. If it helps anyone realize this might not be like the others, it'll do enough for my tastes.

I have the outfit on my Midlander and there is 0 issues with the skin matching for my character, at least. Not one bit. I do wish it was separate items as far as the outfit goes, but I have wanted the outfit for some time and am just happy finally have it. I can agree about the boobs though. Normally Syr is a 7 on the slider. In that outfit she's jumped up at least 4 sizes ><

So this outfit comes with the larger boobs? Does that mean Minfillia wears pushup magic bras that comes with the outfit? 

On a side note, I would be happy if I could have purchased Yugiri's set along with her unique hairstyle. Of course it had to be Minfillia... >.>

Yugiri's hair is about the only thing I would pay money for right now. Her outfit would be a nice bonus, but all I really want is her hair. That begs the question though... Is Menfilia's hair always blonde if you use it? Or can you change the color. I want Yugiri's hair more than anything for Manari, but Manari is blonde, not black haired.

One interesting thing about FF 14 that I've noticed is that the outfits carry their own bodies along with them. Look at female Miqo'te in the starter skirt and stockings versus the lightning skirt, for instance. There's a very distinct difference between how muscular their legs look in the two. For most of the outfits, they map to your body sliders pretty well, but I suspect a lot of the limited edition outfits like this are just cranked out without putting the time into making them map properly.

I'm one of the idiots who spent $15 for the hair. I feel guilty about this because I don't like throwing money at SE for a bad product, but I have wanted that hairstyle since I first laid eyes on it and now it's mine. But yeah, if you can live without the hair, the outfit is total crap and not worth it. Solenne will never wear it IC. Dodgy

SE is in love with Minfilia (a terrible and shitty character poorly written as a MacGuffin Girl and a constant useless distressed damsel) almost as much as they are with Lightning.

Eh, honestly no big deal to me. I expected it. I saw on mogstation that it only listed a few parts so I knew it wasn't going to be interchanged with other pieces.
