The FC has had its slow season due to many of our regular members having increased work loads and coursework to finish up for the end of the year. Look for some updates here soon including a tentative write up of our plans come 2.5 and for 3.0!

Upcoming plans for 2.5-3.0
I had someone ask me to post the future plans for the FC here for all to see Smile Many of which are tentative since much will fluctuate given what future lore is revealed as well as what can be gleaned from the MSQs!

  • The Free Wing Society will no longer be a staffing company by the time of 3.0! Instead, RP has slowly been shifting us towards the end goal: airships, airships, OMFG airships! *ahems* The Society will have the airships they have ICly in the works finished by the time of the expansion, going from staffing company to adventuring pioneers to seek out the secrets of the new world with the partnering front of a delivery and messaging service!
  • TONS of RP storylines and character concepts that will only continue to grow as we have more information off the coming patches and expansions to go off from!


  • We will be switching from a more medium-ish RP FC to full on roleplay with PvE mixed in as a less dominant feature leading into 3.0!
  • Also highly dependent on MSQ and the expansion: The Society will start to get involved more and more with the conflict and various different positions concerning the dragonkin! From battles, negotiations, and possibly more! The idea will still be the same regardless of what is released, but we'll situate ourselves as we go. Smile

  • Many of our members are already getting prepared for what's to come! From leveling up crafts to get the latest items available to ourselves and our members, gearing for raids with the newly instilled FC raid nights every Tuesday, to character story progression, and more!

Our activity is some of the highest we've ever had, with FC wide RP going on almost daily, regular WoD and other content runs, alex farming, events, and more! Even if you may just be looking for a home for an alt, check us out Big Grin

With the amount of new members and activity we have gotten, DOVE will soon be closing recruitment so as to get new members situated and to adjust to our new size! With 12-16 people online in the evening doing PvE, RP, and more, we feel we're reaching a great size!

If you'd like to join, now is the time to do so before we close our doors until further notice Smile

As of tonight, I will be handing over leadership of DOVE to another member while I pursue other opportunities and tend to things IRL and on other fronts. A more detailed explanation is here for those interested.

Thanks again to everyone who has made this FC so successful and I hope the legacy I leave behind continues to last Smile
