It's pretty much absurd as it is now, and like already said if the fix for personal houses is even as much as half the price of FC houses you're pricing a large chunk of people out.
That said there's also a factor of people seeming to be upset they can't buy the biggest house and focusing on that. I'd honestly rather see a more even spread than them dropping the huge houses down to cheap.
