K'mih twitched slightly when the carbuncle jumped from his owner to the ground. Wide open eyes followed the creature's movements as it bounced a few times around her, until a final big leap placed it right on the young Miqo'te's shoulder. Her most initial reaction was to shut her eyes tight, slightly startled from the carbunble's sudden approach, but it didn't take her more than two seconds to reopen them and take a close look at her new friend.
"Waaaaa..." A bright and excited smile was drawn into her features right then, one of her hands traveling near the carbuncle's face to softly poke its nose. That she was captivated by the animal was an understatement. When she turned her gaze back to the three strangers for a moment, her smile remained intact.
"Are you three friends? Why did you come to the desert?" She asked in a friendly tone, scratching the carbuncle's chin gently.
