It is a little more 'poppy' than classic old-skool Nightwish, but I still think it's good tunes. When I saw them live, it was Anette Olzon at the mic, and she sang the classics about as good as Tarja. Songs like Amaranth and Eva have powerful vocals too, and I think she's good if you give her a chance. Also I think she'll be better on the next album.
But like I said before, I do miss Tarja. It's still great, but it's just not the same....
