Anyways, I am in a small rp style fc but now that I've seen some cooler things I'm starting to think of playing a new character.
What I was wondering is what the roleplay community feels would be a good choice of pre Heavensward class/job turning into Machinist. I do plan on crafting, just struggling with what would make a good researcher/builder/user of magitek.
Hello there! I don't think your in-game class/job really should matter if you just want to say your character is a builder. I feel that whatever the game character is doesn't necessarily have to mean your character is that. Really, just play what you want to play until you get to MCH. I think Archer has some cross-class skills with MCH, so that may be your best bet if you want some sort of utility to use alongside your MCH abilities =)
