Basic Info   Characters: Yaein Mayweather Primary character:Yaein Mayweather Linkshells: Still looking for one. Primary RP linkshell: Still looking for one  II. RP Style  Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Light to heavy. Its nice have a broad spectrum of RP tolerance and the ability to acclimate yourself to the current situation. Some people are looking for some lighthearted fun, while others, not so much. My preferences regarding RP isn’t discriminatory. As long as RPing remains enjoyable, I’m up for any amount of it.   Views on RP combat and injuries: I remember having to touch upon this subject in Guild Wars 2. I believe that injuries are perfectly acceptable, but a character shouldn’t be maimed or killed unless it’s the owner decision to do so.  I’m flexiable on how combat should be RP’d, but it would be nice to have the character’s stats and gear accounted for. Weaker characters shouldn’t be on a level playing field as stronger characters and vice versa. Views on IC romance: I’m one of those people that enjoy RPing romances, but it depends on the character. If you are RPing a character that is much too badass and revenge driven to fall in love with anyone, don’t do it. If you’re RPing a character that would totally fall in love with blacksmith down the cobblestone road, go for it. I think it’s important to not let your personal views get in the way of your character’s personal views. As with everything, you run some risks, but if you and the other person can find common ground on things, the world will be your oyster.  Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): Why the hell not? Unless of course your character couldn’t possibly have family near by. It’s best to remember that it’s not your story, but your character’s story. If his/her parents died and you were an only sibling, certainly you aren’t going to have any biological brothers or sisters running around. Views on lore: Lore should always be respected. In fact, it kind of takes away from the RP experience when you are ignoring the story that is unfolding around you. I don’t think it’s necessary to know the lore like the back of your hand, although not many people really know the back of their hand very well, but it would be nice if you read over the basics things and ventured on from there.  Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): No view on this.
