RE: Pokemon Thread - Belmont - 10-18-2013 No problem Crystal. Got probably ten or so Vulpixes and Growlithes up for grabs if anybody wants em.  Vulpixes are about half and half on female and males while the Growlithes are males.  Just add me, still going to be hatching more of them.  (Seriously, ten Growlithes hatched and all males.  Wat?) Edit: Just going to list what I can breed for people right now since it seems the list constantly changes. Zorua, Squirtle, Fennekin, Shinx, Larvitar, Riolu, Chespin, Bulbasaur, Growlithe, Vulpix, Charmander, Froakie, and with luck; Dratini shortly. RE: Pokemon Thread - Kivhi - 10-18-2013 Like for real. That actually made my day. :) If anyone's interested, I can breed Beldum, Venonat, spring Deerling, Girafarig and Natu. I'm also sitting on a mountain of Curse and Wish Eevees. They're separate, but if anyone wants both on one Eevee, I can easily crank one out for you! Basically, Super Training does not effect the growth of your pokemon so there's no need to rush S.T. It does enhance your stat values though. Example. Have S.Def of 22, after gaining Effort Value in S.Def, it changed to 23. Did not lvl up for this change. Effort Values are gained from Super Training and from battling and Exp Share also shares Effort Values, not just experience. Effort Values can be reset via a reset bag. I admittedly started over a couple of times thinking that S.T. affected pokemon growth...>,> RE: Pokemon Thread - Michikyou - 10-20-2013 (10-20-2013, 11:06 AM)Quetzac Wrote: Super Training and Effort Values http://www.nowgamer.com/cheats/pokemonxycheatsandguides/2118066/pokemon_x_y_guide_to_super_training_evs_ivs.html RE: Pokemon Thread - Eckzein - 10-20-2013 (10-20-2013, 05:55 PM)Naih Wrote:Aww, awwwww... crud.(10-20-2013, 11:06 AM)Quetzac Wrote: Super Training and Effort Values Nice find though, had no idea about the Independent values. It is not necessary to EV train for normal game play. The difference in having optimal EVs 63 points in a stat. It's a lot when you're min/maxing, but if you're going to do that you may as well be chain breeding for the best possible combo of IVs, Natures, Abilities, and Egg Moves, a grueling process when done legitimately that takes days.... for a single Pokemon. That's why all tournaments are full of hacks. It's a real problem. I honestly don't even bother with IVs. Breeding for moves and natures and having to EV train right after is already too much work for me, though I respect the people who put in that extra effort.
