One part of this discussion I'd like to touch on is how to make a warlike/strength-focused character still be sociable enough to be fun to RP. If you look back into certain warrior cultures (and others) in history, particular romanticized depictions, one recurring notion that you'll find is the idea that courtesy and generosity can be used just as well as violence to demonstrate and prove strength. This concept is at play a lot with my own Xaela from a warring tribe. In her view, helping someone else is simply another way to demonstrate her own power and superior might/wisdom. It also leaves the aided person in her debt, which further solidifies her position of strength. Just food for thought!
And while she's still got a ways to go with levels and glamours I'm always happy to bring her out for RP. I believe we see eachother a bit in the Ishgard LS, so don't be a stranger!
