I agree, the pricing for the FC houses seems pretty ridiculous, especially given that RPers don't usually grind for money.
And I would have loved to see a whole neighborhood of RP FCs, to have the potential to walk around and run into random RP in a concentrated area without trolls (they are few and far in between, but I run into a few in taverns).
But a part of me was also worried that if all the RP FCs had their own houses, I would rarely see them RP in a group in a public area. Â Why, the other day, I overheard some fascinating conversations in Coffer and Coffin, that honestly if they had their own FC housing, the nature of their conversation may have been in the FC house. Â Which then I would have missed out on. My character didn't get involved or eavesdrop since it is not her nature, but I enjoyed listening to it nonetheless.
So... while I love the idea of FC housing, and will work to do what I can to contribute to my own FC funds, I wonder if it will diminish roleplay in public areas. I hope that does not happen, since I enjoy chance encounters.
