TALES FROM THE VTH LEGION!

((WARNING, IMPLIED GRAPHIC SCENES.))
A man shrouded in black stood before a medical table, and on top of that table was a fleshy mound of red and muscle. It writhed, and groaned, and reached out towards him as if The Man could offer any form of salvation. However, the room was covered in shadow. The faint glimmer of candlelight shined bright in the farthest corner, allowing illumination to show off the sheets which lined the small room. They were covered in blood. --- Just below, almost out of reach of that candles' light, could be seen a pile of discarded flesh.
There was far too much. So much so, that that pile of discarded flesh was very clearly from one entire person.
"Aaghh..." The patient groaned, trying to grasp at the shadowed man's collar. He simply slapped that bloody appendage away without a care in the world, and he leaned forward. This caused the bottom half of his face to shine in view. One so normal would be repulsed to see such a grisly sight, a view of charred skin with a translucent glimmer of red just beneath. They highlighted his veins, which pulsated in tune with his heart. He had no lips, but that didn't mean he couldn't smile! On the contrary, he had a Glasgow grin from ear to ear!
However, those scars appeared to be fresh. When the skin where his lips should be parted, the cuts would stretch open like a snake's unhinged jaw. Between that point, could be seen a strange red liquid which oozed from top to bottom in a sort of thick wall. It stretched out like gum between a leather boot and pavement.
"So... Are you alive now?" The shadowed man began. To the patient, his voice sounded like heaven. It was smooth, like a fresh stick of butter. Yet it oozed power and malevolent intent. "Aagghhghh..." The Patient groaned out, staring up at the man with wide, lid-less eyes.
"What do you see?" The man continued, his voice fell to a hushed whisper. And as he spoke, he placed the palm of his gloved hand against the mound's quivering shoulder. The patient sputters before spewing out a fountain of blood and goo. "Hmm?" The man persisted. "You have eyes!" He pressed again, and made sure to lean forward again. As he did this, his head would cant to the side ever so slightly. His body folded in on itself, causing the black leather material to grind together. His western hat, however, hid the rest of his face in a smog of shadow. "What do your EYES sssee?"
The patient sputtered once more, yet never responded. He fell limp and glanced away from the shadowed man, however he still drew breath. "Hmm Hmm Hmm..." The man chuckled, "Yeeeess... That's right! You see a sssseee meeeeee..."
A low hiss rumbled beneath the operating table, and up the side of that metal thing's leg slithered an incredibly large snake. Its scales were the color of night. ADAM chuckled low, then let his fingertips glide against EVE's spine as she began to calmly coil around the bloody mound before them...
"Ssssleeeeeeeep............... . . . . . . . . . . ."
