Very detailed. Great character There's a lot to work with there to make her very interesting in roleplay.
The only thing that comes to my mind in terms of lore sensitivity is that as juicy and ironic as her mother making ends meet through literary works about her daughter is... I urge you to keep in mind that because of Eorzea's low literacy rates I don't think she'd be making anything considerable from writing, maybe from a particularly enthusiastic patron, but otherwise her clientele would be very limited. Or otherwise she'd need to be -very- popular with the right people to be making considerable gil.
I guess in general I'm just pointing out that you should keep in mind that reading and writing in Eorzea is a bigger deal than in our world, and though you've gone to great lengths to explain certain minor things, you've glossed over a bit how as far as I can tell a common fisherman and a 'Cuda sailor became proficient in the written word.
Anyway, good luck and have fun.

Talks the talk, and walks the walk.
Serious, lore-abiding, mature roleplayer.
