Garlean(s) required for long term storyline! - Cato - 01-19-2015
To make a long story short I'm looking for some Garlean role-players who are willing to make use of my character as a potential enemy or, in the case of defectors, an ally! My character's father betrayed Eorzea and allowed himself to be conscripted willingly by the encroaching Garlean forces that took up residence near Wineport.
As you can imagine this isn't the sort of thing that my character brings up when sitting in a tavern and so I haven't had much opportunity to pursue the consequences of his father's actions.Â
Now that his father has risen to a relatively respectable position within the Garlean military he has begun hiring mercenaries and sending spare troops to try and track down his son with the intention of capturing him and forcing him to serve the Garlean cause as well.
I think this would make for a pretty interesting storyline if there's people willing to get involved and I'm more than happy to ensure that this doesn't become a one sided affair where the 'heroes' constantly beat back the bad guys and emerge unscathed.
As I said, I'd prefer this to be a long term thing with reasonable pacing. A good route to get involved would be through deception, such as approaching my character as a potential friend whilst secretly working to collect the bounty on his safe delivery to his father.
If anyone has questions then I'll be happy to answer them here or discuss matters further in-game! I apologise if these comes across as a bit vague - I tend to enjoy a bit of mystery surrounding my characters do I don't really release every detail in advance.
