II. RP Style

Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy):

Hmm, let's see... I'd like to think of myself as more of a medium-heavy
RPer. I'm not overly serious about it, but I'm highly dedicated to it.
When I'm in character, I'm -in character- but I always have that
dividing line between taking things personally OOC and IC. Like if
someone is insulting my character, -I'm- not going to be the one upset
and vice versa. I've known a lot of people that have struggled with that
concept.

Views on RP combat and injuries:

When it comes to injury or death or something permanent, it usually depends on
the situation and how my characters will react. OOCly, I'm very open to
those kinds of things. The last character I created and RP'd with was on
Lotro, he ended up losing an arm in combat. Of course with ingame
restrictions, his model still had the arm but I always emphasized his
lack of one. What made more interesting was his lifestyle and job relied
on having both arms. It exceedingly fun to watch as his whole life
shifted upside down. I love that kind of thing. So when it comes to
death, injury, all that, I'm fairly open as well as it's great story
telling. Now as for combat, I prefer text-based. That being said, I hate
Godmodding. The roll element is difficult to rely on as well. I dislike
using duels to convey the point either because player skill =/=
character skill. So as long as both parties are on the same page,
willing to understand that injury or worse can occur, most of the time
it isn't a problem. I, more often then not, end up roleplaying the
losing side in combat since I refuse to Godmode my characters to the
point where I just don't really care about the outcome of the combat
anymore.

Views on IC romance:

This one is pretty brief. IC romance is awesome. I hate ERP however.

Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc):

I'll allow this. Lol.

Views on lore:

In most other games I generally try to stick within lore as much as I can,
but in this game I know nothing (Jon Snow) so I'm not all strict about
it.

Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc):

Haven't really used these yet so... meh? I guess? Maybe?
