Learn the rudiments of RP combat tourney-style and feel comfort in knowing that your character won't take a lance to the knee before become a guard in Ul'dah.
Central Thanalan bridge, just outside the Gate of Nald. Â Leather and blunted weapons only.

Now that she's hit 50 as a Warrior it's about time Obsidian Hornet came out to the Grindstone.

Just for the record (I'm sure it's been mentioned, but I'm chiming in here anyways), combats don't take level or equipment into account. They're done using a random number generator, and it's entirely possible for someone to create a level 1 character and immediately win a Grindstone tournament. So don't wait, or you'll be late!
And sometimes you'll get to be healed by C'kayah, if you come. That's always an experience! As opposed to a certain "healer" who's name starts with an "E", C'kayah has never caused a patient to scream or burst into flames.

J'ruzho may stop bye to spectate the training session for a bit tonight. I know IC it would make more sense for me to jump in head first fists-a-flyin' but 10 pm is already pretty close to my bed time.
Work starting at 7 am is really annoying.

I was asked, even though I probably won't be in game tonight due to an eye injury - Grindstone still on for tonight even though it's Christmas?
I cross post it to my FC's events calendar, and someone pointed out that it fell on Christmas. XD
