New RPer Here - DSCH - 07-08-2013 I will begin my first foray into Role-Playing at the launch of FFXIV: A Realm Reborn. This is by no means the first MMORPG I have played, but it will host my earliest attempt at RPing. From what I have experienced up until this point in beta, my first beta by the way, the community in XIV is shaping to be helpful for first-timers.  I'd like to learn as much as I can about RPing from these forums. I'll be sure to read what my fellow members have written about their characters, as I develop some ideas of my own. Any tips from veteran RPers will be much appreciated. As far as lore, if no one's post it yet, Endemerrin has a pretty in-depth write-up of the 1.0 storyline. SE also has their own lore forums, which are great for some official tidbits.
