A colossus of steam and steel has risen from the Thaliak! Yet it is no mere forgotten contrivance of Sharlayan. The resultant aetheric disturbance confirms that it is a primal, and that it was summoned admist the ruins left for the river to reclaim. The primal is bleeding the land dry! Please help, adventurers! Should it be suffered to continue, this entire region will become a barren waste in a matter of moons!
What: I'm putting together a group of eight to roleplay through the Alexander storyline. Because it's a damned cool storyline and I like to get out there and combined battles with roleplay!
How: A group of eight adventurers (traditional Full Party) will take on Alexander from the beginning of the plotline to the end. The structure will work as follows:
 - We will meet once a week to roleplay for 1.5-2 hours.
 - We will do a pre-fight role play, where our characters discuss what's going on and how the story effects them.
 - We will enter and complete one Alexander Normal fight.
 - Then we'll step out and role play the result of our glorious victory and the next string of plot line.
Who: The story is a tweaked version of the canon plot. I'm open to suggestions though, but so far the players are as such:
The Adventurers
1. Tank -
2. Tank -
3. Healer - Lirilith Maellan
4. Healer
5. DPS - Aegir Hlerson
6. DPS -
7. DPS -
8. DPS -
The Ironwork Engineers
 - Engineers working for the Garlond Ironworks. They're desperately devising a way to enter the mechanical primal sitting in the lake. They'll show up in the before and after battle scenes. Although if your character is an engineer, they can battle too. They'll mostly be NPCs, although if anyone wants to show up and help out as a PC character, that would be fun too.
The Scholars
- Scholars working out of Idyllshire, desperately searching for means to cull the aetheric flow of energy and provide the adventurers with information regarding the Primal, the history of the area, and the Goblins. They'll also show up in the before and after battle scenes, unless you have a character that wants to be both.
The Goblins
- Our Goblin friends! They'll... probably be NPCs.
Battle!: So we'll be going in and actually doing the A1-A12 fights. I like to banter as much as possible when I play, and it's really fun to do it in character. This could be your chance to break out some really cheesy macro sets and let the RP fly!
Interested?: If you're interested, post here or send a /tell to Aegir Hlerson. I can answer any questions. I'm also open to revising things. I'll be the main Storyteller for this event.
If you want to join, I'd like to do a recruitment scene with you. How can your character learn about this? Well, anyone with their ear to the ground in the Dravania land will know what's going on. Your character can also be recruited by a scholar or a member of the Ironworks. It really depends on your character concept, but we can definitely find a reason.
Also!: I'll probably write more here later, including blurbs of the people in the group. Once we have enough people, we can discuss when to schedule events. Aside from the main 8 adventurers, if your character wants to stop by and help, they're welcome. I'd like to start this event in the next 1-2 weeks.
