Time Jump between 1.0 and ARR - Eva - 08-28-2012
I went ahead and posted on the official forums inquiring about the time jump from 1.0 to ARR. Perhaps it won't amount to much, or maybe it will gain some traction if others are also curious. If you want to join the discussion, here is a link to the thread:

So far nothing really concrete. Lots of speculation. I don't want to shamelessly bump it, but I'm going to keep an eye on it, and hopefully eventually one of the community reps will give us a little nugget of knowledge. i cannot participate in the forums, apparently if my char account is inactive, it effects my activity on the lodestone..

According to this, the time jump is only 5 years. I'm sure if people want to ignore the time travel concept, they could easily stay behind as a survivor and tweak their character's age slightly to even things out (or even add 5 years to their character, depending on their individual plans).
