My first vote was for Mysidia. The music, the storyline, Palom and Porum... FFIV was perhaps not my favorite games, but that whole sequence of taking Cecil from Dark Knight to Paladin was one of the best moments I can think of. I still remember running all the way to the chocobo forest there, and my friend tricking me into taking the chocobo back to Mysidia before going up the mountain "So you'll be high enough to make it up there!" I still refuse to believe he was right. Damn those ravens and their swoons... Aah, the memories. And while we've all had strong opinions, everyone has remained respectful and calm. Frankly, if this is an uproarious and divisive discussion, I'd say we're going to handle ourselves just fine. Re: The Quest for a Home (Server Vote) - foxfirestorm - 09-02-2010 On the more funnier not, if Besaid does win... We started out on Jecht server, during closed Beta. This is where most of us gathered and even did a test run RP when there was no /em to use. it was some of our first encounters with one another in the game world, and had some crazy adventures along with it (like finding giant crabs of doom and getting crushed by massive salamanders). So, if Besaid does win, it is as if the FFX name was a calling to us of our destiny to rule over the FFX genre of names and thus claim it as ours! of coarse anything goes and I am being amused just by this change of events. FFIV was perhaps not my favorite games, but that whole sequence of taking Cecil from Dark Knight to Paladin was one of the best moments I can think of. I played it when I was seven years old. I was in grade 2 or 3. I remember playing pretend on the playground about FFIV. It was kind of a big deal to me as a young'un. And at least Besaid is appropriate in the FF city category. I refuse to acknowledge Jecht as the primary antagonist. Re: The Quest for a Home (Server Vote) - Kylin - 09-02-2010 Bleh. Just checked out Aion's RP server poll to compare. They had 248 votes compared to our 221. Find 27 more voters!! Proportionately, they also had about twice...maybe three times the potential voting pool at the time their vote was held? I think we're doing pretty good. :cheer: Re: The Quest for a Home (Server Vote) - Trine - 09-02-2010 How much longer? An hour? And despite all the arguing... whatever the vote says in the end is the one we end up on, right? Re: The Quest for a Home (Server Vote) - Cid_Mercer - 09-02-2010 Yup. A vote's a vote. Re: The Quest for a Home (Server Vote) - Seraphine Felstar - 09-02-2010 It would have been nicer to get close to that 400 mark on the vote count. I know a lot of people on Eorzeapedia were hoping to see a big number. Still good job to everyone that voted! We all get punch and pie! :cheer: Re: The Quest for a Home (Server Vote) - Asyria - 09-02-2010 Geebus, close to 50% participation and still an hour left! That's a LOT better than how it goes for my town's mayor vote! Re: The Quest for a Home (Server Vote) - Ozak Kuzak - 09-02-2010 Yay pie!!! Re: The Quest for a Home (Server Vote) - Nikolai - 09-02-2010 Lindblum nooooo D: What happened?
