Oh, I enjoy playing villains and have done so many times.  I also usually take the 'bad' side when given such an option with factions in MMORPG's; however, Viquara just doesn't feel like a villain.  The muse is not sending me that way with her.  This doesn't mean she would not consort with villains via RP, of course, but I do not see her as a full-on villain.

I hate making blatant plugs but the Black Lotus Cartel is built as a group of people who in general terms try to do good for the world but also want to make mountains of gil and don't really care about stepping on the toes of people in power.

Site is lotus-cartel.enjin.com if you're curious Big Grin

Thank you.  I shall look.  Viquara is not necessarily mercenary-minded, but she has conflicts in other ways as regards her alignment.

Another quick question ... I notice that when I use /e for a custom emote, it does not print my name in the text box, just the action.  Is that just my view?  I am assuming that it does not do this for others?  Or is there a different way to /emote in FFXIV?

It should be /em, not /e, and if it isn't that, you should probably check what your name display settings for the chat window.

Thank you muchly!  That was it.  I am so in the habit of just using /e, not /em.  It seems to make a difference here.
