The Chroniclers gathered this week to find the waif, Ellisorielle Black, on their doorstep and looking for refuge from those who intend her harm.  They discussed at length the various clues they'd discovered about the cultist group, but came to no concrete plans.  Accommodations were arranged for the frightened young girl and efforts began to ensure her safety.  It was only a matter of time before someone came looking...

Several varied issues were touched on when The Chroniclers gathered again this week.  Further clues into the Garlean activity and the theft of a shipment of rare alloy were discussed, including a sketch of an Aetherkey that might be enough to buy them some time to ferret out the shipment's location.

It was discovered that one of their own, Zhan'a Rakhin, now had Wanted posters up for his capture in Gridania, claiming he kidnapped a young girl.  It tied in to their on-going investigation of a mysterious cult that was kidnapping orphans from all the city-states and converting them to their will.  

Lastly, they discussed the matter of the artifact they'd obtained, The Crown of Wishes.  All that remained was to find an adamantoise to test it on... An adamantoise?!   Yes, an adamantoise.  The Crown of Wishes was a rare relic that only granted the heartfelt wishes of tiny turtles.  Most of whom want to fly.  Go figure.

This week's Toll Night saw The Chroniclers gather just to shoot the breeze and catch up with one another.  News was shared about the on-going mysteries of the Augmented Scintillant Ore (our Spurs of Chaos FC-wide Storyline), as well as ideas for the upcoming Gridania Story-Go-Round, and word from Alexander Steelstrike about an upcoming expedition into Xelphatol.  (His personal Character Storyline.)

It was my honor to speak before such a grand assembly on behalf of The Chroniclers and so many others!  Big thanks go out to Kale Aideron for putting this together and being such an excellent host.  Kudos go out to all the performers and speakers, including that rabble-rousing Doctor Ozerov!

Big thanks to our friends at the Daystar Agency who made this month's Story-Go-Round possible when a scheduling conflict stole our usual venue.

This week only saw Grenat Querroux chancing across Syranelle Ironleaf at the Seventh Heaven tavern.  They passed pleasantries and caught up on news with each other before Syra invited Grenat to accompany her as she continued the Chroniclers' investigation into the missing shipment of Augmented Scintillant Ingots.  It was only after that was decided that Syra pulled Grenat aside to deal with injuries he'd suffered in the course of his work.

Once he was taken care of, Syra promised him she'd send for him when she was ready to leave for the Shroud and track down the Ishgardian Machinist that turned traitor...

We'll be out next week supporting the RP Levelers "Pop Up RP" at the Coffer and Coffin in Thanalan!  We look forward to seeing everyone there!

The Toll was fairly quiet this evening, but Zhan'a Rakhin, Karaan Nolan, and Syranelle Ironleaf all still came across one another while dealing with various shipments coming or going.  As it happens, Zhan'a was planning a trip with Syranelle to investigate some caves occupied by his tribe.  He thought they might have some tie to Gelmorra, which is a known research interest of the Duskwight Elezen.

While Zhan'a planned to go and negotiate with his tribe to allow their archaeology team access to the caves, Syranelle planned to put together a feast fit for miqo'te -- starting with the best miqo'bobs ever!  Karaan, however, was still plagued by his family troubles and couldn't join in.
